As students go back to school over the next month, NAMI has updated Back to School resources. These are designed to help students, their teachers, and their families work together to develop safe ways to navigate mental health challenges.

The resources have strategies, advice, and quick tips:

  • Educators may be the first to notice students’ behavior change. The educator resources can help prepare teachers and trusted adults to navigate mental health conversations.
  • Parents and caregivers can learn about creating a safe space to talk about mental health and foster healthy mental wellness habits with their children.
  • Students will learn about how to get help early, plan for crisis, prevent burnout, and more.

Share NAMI’s Back to School Resources within your community! We’ve created a Field Guide to support you as you share these targeted resources to the students, parents, educators, and trusted adults in your area.
