As students go back to school, NAMI has updated our Back to School resources which are designed to help students, their teachers, and their families work together to develop safe ways to navigate mental health challenges.

The resources have strategies, advice, and quick tips:

  • Educators may be the first to notice students’ behavior change. The educator resources can help teachers create safe and supportive classrooms and integrate mental health and wellness into daily schedules.
  • Parents and caregivers can learn about creating a safe space to talk about mental health and foster healthy mental wellness habits with their children.
  • Students will learn about how to get help early, prevent burnout, and more.

Share NAMI’s Back to School Resources within your community! We’ve created a Field Toolkit to support you as you share these targeted resources with the students, parents, educators, and trusted adults in your area.
